XSI 5.0 won't start after Windows Update KB981793 (Resolved)

Just putting this out there in case anyone has had similar problems.

Installed Update for Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 (KB981793), Resulting in XSI not starting.

Uninstalled update and now XSI starts.

It may not be directly effecting XSI, it may instead be wreaking havoc on my Display driver since my display settings reset after the update, and since my drivers weren't working right then XSI didn't boot.


Setup is as follows
XSI 5
Dual Boot 32bit XP Vista
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
4GB Ram (3GB switch enabled in XP)
ATI Radeon HD 4350
