Mirror weights

Hi guys. I don't know why but mirroring weights doesn't work. Also when I create a miror map it disables the weights preview

Sometimes it mirrors the weights but I need symmerty. It mirrors and that's all

Is the model you are weighting parented to a null or something?
Try cutting off all parent-child attachments to the model and putting it out on the top level and running it.
