Guys...lets keep it in line with these previews. There was NOTHING, and we asked to see a sneak peek, and they have been kind enough to show us some stuff, which they dont have to do.

O:-)

Edit: That pivot video just gave me an idea...I think I may have figured out a way to do the "rolling cube" in ICE.

Yes, but if you need to navigate using the S key, it can fiddlely. Also what do you do if some changes the interaction mode?

True :)

Who would do such a thing?! :))
Kidding. It is a good thing really, I find that most of the times when we tell someone to use a different Interaction Mode they miss out so much. It is nice to see those rough edges fixed...

For me that would be a very handy tool if it comes someday or another.

I hope it will be sooner than later :ympray:

Edit: I meant the retiming tool.

Scaling and shifting keys more efficiently is definitely something to experiment with. I'm glad this is occurring in SI. As long as there is a good beta team to give feedback, should be great!

A new feature preview has been posted on youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaUMgVWqUPo

Shows only a really small addition:

The menus of the SRT tools can now be used as an alternative to using ALT for moving the transfrom pivot. Seems to be for people that come from other software and are used to one handed interaction.

Will try, if I have time.

I realise that the second one is disappointing to many and won't set the world on fire. It's a small but useful little thing, but I guess I should included something to show how this perhaps might be more relevent in the context of someone using a Suite.

Bellsey seems to have removed the second technology preview.
I'm assuming he did so for the reason he mentions in his most recent post.

I like it. It´s not scaling, it´s retiming.

Seems nice, but nothing so exceptional from my point of view. Hope they show something more interesting.

Perhaps I let myself be easily influenced by beauty images, words and videos, but AD marketing seems run by a group of volunteers (my impression is they are little concerned by the news and product, in previous releases have not seen so much enthusiasm, but maybe it was just my impression), especially if compared to marketing made by Luxology and Maxon, but also NewTeck actually shows more passion for his product (at least lately). I have no intention to offend anyone, again, only my sensation about.
