The main difference, I think, is the fact that it has been implemented in ICE ;)

you can also add multiple curves on the go, which is really nice, you kinda deform and create the loft on the go, can add as many as you want.

Awesome compound and very useful! In school I had been using Cinema4D loft operator to do lofts and simply felt superior to the standard XSI loft operator, but this compound does more than what Cinema4D can do with lofts. Now if this generated nurbs and we had nurbs boolean in XSI I wouldn't go outside of XSI.
