TUTORIAL: ICE Modelling - Creating a Procedural Bridge

Post by dwigfor » 19 Oct 2012, 18:53

I'm surprised I didn't see this posted here (I saw a quick reference in a thread, I think it was ICE for TDs only?). Chris Gotzinger (where have you been?) created this amazing tutorial. VERY well explained; A+ Quality!

I particularly found helpful the Primitive Mesh node (didn't know some shapes were already available), Transform Topo, Merge Topo Array (this allows you to merge multiple topologies with the Merge Topo node. I guess he mentioned that he got this from Steve Blair, but I particularly liked using the Select Case for creating the arrays for Create Topo.

I still haven't gotten thru part 4, since I've been busy trying to implement and create my own stuff. Finally starting to get how to use ICE Modelling. If you haven't watched these, I HIGHLY recommend them.

Thank you very much, Chris!
