ICE FX (enhanced) looks very nice but the title wrong talking about modeling...

There is a big military gaffe in the HQV video. It is not a Gatling gun but a Rocket launcher pod :D

Unfortunately the video doesn't show anything about usability.

Wow, you are not joking. This is appalling, really. Instead of investing resources into developing s/w Adsk invests in new logos while crapping on the images of software programs that were iconic by now and had their logos for a decade in case of Softimage.
I'm disgusted...

Pretty light releases for all of them really (Max, Maya, Mudbox and SI).

Meh ... it's Autodesk... they obviously don't care anymore and I get the feeling that they could care less. I'm just glad RedShift showed up during the same period. Otherwise I would've lost it. Atdsk is not getting an upgrade out of me this year. They can go to hell.

I think the new logo itself is okay, maybe a little too thick and blocky...but the overall packaging of the Creation Suites seems to be somewhat familar to the older XSI boxes.

On a side note - seems the Camera Sequencer is the main new feature to Softimage. I guess we know why we only got one "sneak peak" video. I wonder how many new seats of Softimage they plan to sell this year....um...0?

Finally, SDK changes are here! Now you can... Create custom primitives! Can you belive it? I can't! Is this real? Where am I? Why this service pack called 2014 release? Is this a dream? Can someone wake me up?

Imagine this:
Create Softimage user develop area.
People present their compounds, addons, renderers and people can donate ... like small kick starter for Softimage only.
You would see boom in development and such progress that hasn;t bin seen in years since AD bought SI....
Probably a lot more people would actually put their money into improving and getting tools for current version of SI then throwing it out to not developed versions at all.

In the mean time in AD land.....
ooooh the horror....
