MAXON IBC 2014 LINE-UP

Post by MauricioPC » 30 Aug 2014, 15:28

Maxon has made public the line of speakers for the IBC 2014. The presentations will be streamed live through http://www.maxon.net/ibc-2014/friday-sept-12.html.

One of the cool things about the first presentation is possibly the Houdin Engine to C4D.
The Agenda - Friday, September 12 -- 11 am - 12 am: John Courte / Side FX - Procedural Technology Across the Pipeline

John Courte from Side Effects Software will outline possibilities and practices for leveraging procedural content creation techniques across the pipeline with the Cinema 4D plugin for Houdini Engine, and designing Houdini Digital Assets for optimum effectiveness in Houdini Engine-based deployment.

Also an avid gamer and VR enthusiast, he has always been at the forefront of fusing game, film, and haptics technology to build real-time and near real-time environments for previsualizaton, production, and location-based entertainment. Currently, he is the Senior Creative Consultant at Side Effects Software in Los Angeles where he continues to explore new applications for procedural content technology.
