Animate multible objects on Curve

Post by Ironice » 04 Mar 2020, 13:11

Hi,
dont realy know where the problem is.
I done exactly the same things like in this video with SI 2015SP2 and XSI 7.

Try this one:
But nothing happens.
There is no functioncurves like in this video.
And nothing moves if i move the null.

Only what works is, if i remove the "l_fcv" from Definition the link changes to expression, the Path %age value "L(100) 33+ changes to local value and only one cube moves along the curve if i slide the null.

Any help, please?

hmmmmmm... :-?

It works only, after the link with the null, if i key the second value of "Path %age" in animationEditor with 100+ to make 360 degree rotation.
Then i can move the null and the cubes are rotating.

Something missing in this video? But i can´t see any keying....

Perhaps things changed since that early video,
but I think the curves are created but with one point.

And perhaps the confusion comes when, unlike the anim editor, the curves in the expression editor has no time cursor to add keys at that frame
(you have to add points to all selected curves with middle click with the add points tool)

... as you seem to have figured out :)
