Just played with new Geometry Nodes. Doesn't seem to be as fast as Maya Bifrost, but way faster than former Animation Nodes addon. There are nice simplifications here and there, like assumed self.pointposition if nothing is defined. Has a geo queries like raycast and proximity, tried Raycast, seems to be.... fast enough. Usual stuff is present, vector math, instancing and such. Best part is implementation, it's possible to use geo nodes just like any other node in Blender. Entire thing is implemented as geometry modifer, somewhere in stack, so it's easy to use it as addition to already strong traditional part of software, just as we used ICE in SI. Everything seem to be stable and responsive. All in all, I can imagine tons of cases where this thing could make an everyday life easier, not another source of problems. NIce.
