How to install :
--------------

Use the .dll / .so from your OS type and version located in the lib subfolder.
Use the .mi file from the include subfolder if you use 3DSMax or Maya
Use the .spdl if you use XSI

3DSMax :

In the 3dsmax.exe folder, set the *.mi file in the subfolder : mentalray\shaders_autoload\include
And the DLL in the subfolder mentalray\shaders_autoload\shaders

Maya :

In the mayapath folder, set the mi file in the subfolder :
  mayapath\mentalray\include
And the DLL in the subfolder
  mayapath\mentalray\lib
Set the .xpm from subfolder Icons_Maya in Mayapath\icons

If you use Maya 7 : (ignore this for more recent versions of Maya)
Then modify the maya.rayrc file located in :
  maya7path\mentalray\maya.rayrc
By adding
	link	"{MAYABASE}/lib/DL3D_BlackSpotsRemover.{DSO}"
and
	mi "{MAYABASE}/include/DL3D_BlackSpotsRemover.mi"

XSI :
Set the .spdl and .dll/.so files in the same folder and load the .spdl file using the plugin manager, it will set the shader ready for XSI.

This is a simple wireframe shader.
- 2 colors, one for the edge (wirecol) and the other color (facecol) for the inside then the thickness of the edge.
- check the quad chechbox to render it with quads instead of wireframe.
- choose edge1index to draw the edge whose index is 1, 2 or 3 for even triangles
- choose edge2index to draw the edge whose index is 1, 2 or 3 for odd triangles

To render quads, you have to do all possible combinations of edge1index and edge2index until it works fine.
It may happen that it doesn't work if you have a special triangulation.
